Dangerous materials are used in this class like xacto blades, carving knives, bleach, etc.

It is the student's responsibility to listen to safety demonstrations that are given for each tool and use them safely.

Students sign a safety contract at the beginning of the year.

Grading Policy

Students are graded on an individualized scale of their personal skill level

Students are graded on participation in class daily and their completion of assignments

Students are expected to complete assignments to the best of their ability

Being on their phone results in a 0 for the day

Attendance is taken at the start of every class. Students who arrive after the bell are tardy. Students who arrive half way into class are marked absent. After 10 unexcused absences students are not allowed make up work.
Class Fee:
Because this class is a material based course and materials are provided for students, students are required to pay a fee for the course. The year fee is $30.
